MBSBL Update

Offense, offense, offense continues to be my theme. Phil Nevin is my 13th round pick, and while he'll only play against lefties, he'll play VERY well against lefties where last year he had the third best OPS against Lefties (behind Bonds at 1300 and Vlad at 1294) with a 1222 OPS.

Whether or not my team can pitch its way out of a paper bag is very much in question, but you gotta like my hitting. Here is how the Optimist's lineup sets against lefties and righties...

Vs Left
C Lopez (336/373/718) - 1091
1B Nevin (349/397/825) -1222
2B MGiles (283/361/504) - 865
SS Cintron (365/418/577) - 995
3B Koskie (224/306/329) - 635
LF Guillen (315/371/554) - 925
CF Beltran (326/418/577) - 995
RF Abreu (272/330/378) - 708
DH Posada (295/403/541) - 944

Vs Right
C Lopez (326/379/677) - 1056
1B Stairs (304/402/582) - 984
2B MGiles (325/399/533) - 932
SS Cintron (296/331/450) - 781
3B Koskie (331/440/522) - 962
LF Guillen (310/355/575) - 930
CF Beltran (300/377/514) 891
RF Abreu (312/440/509) 949
DH Posada (276/405/510) - 915

Lefty-bashers are a dime a dozen (probably due to the much smaller sample size), but ones that hit 1222 are fairly exceptional.
