Great New Blog
If you came here looking for a voice of Optimism for your Seattle Mariners, I apologize for my current hiatus. May I be so bold as to redirect you to one of my favorite new spots for Mariner reading, Detect-O-Vision, Inc.
Excellent analysis, well written, entertaining, usually optimistic, and a fantastic addition to the M's blogosphere. And voluminous as well - there seem to be multiple long posts added every day.
Sites like this one let me rest easier knowing that a voice of optimism still exists in the M's blogosphere!

My Extended Hiatus
My apologies to those (2 or 3 - Hi Mom!) of you out there who have enjoyed my blog the past two years. This summer I moved, things picked up at work, and with three kids to boot I found that I had to make some choices with how to spend my free time.
With the Mariners struggling, yet the blogosphere rocking with great writers, I decided to shelve my blog for a few weeks, which has not turned into a few months. For now, I would consider myself retired from blogging, but Spring may bring new inspiration to your Mariner Optimist, and I hold out the possibility of a return.
In the meantime, I'm looking forward to seeing what the M's do this offseason, and of course, my hopes are extremely high for 2006.
Go Mariners!
